Lughnasa won the Men's semifinal and have access to the 2008/2009 Finals where they will play Dublin International for the title.

DCU - Lughnasa 32-41

Final will be played in UCD on the 10th of May at 3.30pm.

Women's Final will be played also in UCD on the 10th of May at 1.30pm
(St.Pat's vs winner of UCD-Terenure)

Andres Eiriksson coach of Ireland U15 and head coach of Terenure Handball Club organised this week end Ireland and Scotland joined training camp and set of friendly matches.
These will take place Tallaght on Saturday and UCD-Belfield on Sunday.
Here the Schedule

tournmanent in Col, hIde in Tallagth, 12pm-6pm, 2 Scottish teams, 2 Lughnasa teams and Terenure.

POVEGLIANO: AMMENDA DI EURO 80,00 (Ottanta) in quanto la Società ha consentito alproprio tesserato di proferire reiterate frasi offensive, dalla tribuna, all' indirizzo dell' arbitro.

Basically this guy (good friend of mine) got three matches suspension for insulting the ref, walking toward them and only being stop by team mates. Hence he got sent off. He kept insulting the ref from the stands for the entire 2nd half. The team got fines €80 because let the players keep going with the insults.

Ah, this is good stuff, good handball!! Missing it a bit.....
I think I should publish more of this.....just to relax a bit....

Dear all, It is my privilege to inform you that the inaugural Cork Handball Tournamentshall commence on 29th/30th November 2008 in the UCC Mardyke Arena, Western Rd.,Cork, Ireland. It is located near UCC on the south-west side of the city. Andit will be played on a proper full size handball court!!!
The format of the tournament will be based on a round-robin format, with thetop two teams progressing to the final. The entry fee is 60 Euro per team.
It would be advisable that you stay in Cork on Friday night if your team arebad morning travellers as we have the hall on both days at 12.00h until 18.00h.
