UCC has a mens and womens team to take part in the new competition!
What kind of competition will it be though?
Are there any teams?
Is this the college one?
How long will it run for?

the format will depend on the number of team, so either one group or two group with semis and final. Will try to give all teams a decent number of interesting games. I would see it as an alternative at the college one, which might not be satisfying. Also I don’t know for how long will run, but if UCC and other will depend on student, the competition will have to finish by May, i.e. before exams.

because I am THINKING to do it...and beacause this un-offical web site is open to all...so all can participate to the discussion

Fair play to you Andrea, if you manage to have a competition running parallel to the league. I talked to Colin last week who said that they might have to cancel the college league as there is only UCC so far! I wish to believe that this is a different case with your intention to get a few games together!

yes, it is, as I planned to have it in case the College league would not take off.
I am not happy about teams showing interest, in particular IT Blancardtown and Coolmine, but I think somethink should be possible to organise.
